Hiding column data on report, but allowing export of that column data

joshua.dNov 5 2008 — edited Nov 5 2008
I have a classic report that I would like to hide columns from the screen when the user runs the report. However, when they choose to export the data, I would like to include these columns in the exported file. Under the Report Attributes, deselecting the Show checkbox removes this column from showing on the report. However, it also removes it from the export. Going to the Print Attributes tab, and checking Include in Export and verifying the column width > 0 does not resolve this problem.

Is there a way to hide columns in the report region, but still have the column data available for the export file?

Thank you,
Joshua
