Hide side column in APEX5

Hello,

I'm building a new application using Oracle Application Express 5. Some of the pages use the "right side column" page template. If I enter such a page in my application the side column is visible and I can hide it by clicking on the top left corner of the region. Now I wonder, how can I change this behaviour so that the region is hidden by default and only visible if I click that corner. Any suggestions are really appreciated.
