"Hibernate Dialect must be explicitly set" error occured

I have created an application using eclipse in hibernate and I am having this problem.

log4j:WARN No appenders could be found for logger (org.hibernate.cfg.Environment).
log4j:WARN Please initialize the log4j system properly.
org.hibernate.HibernateException: Hibernate Dialect must be explicitly set

at com.capco.hibernate.HibernateDemo.main(HibernateDemo.java:17)

Can anybody help me in this context....
