HFR issue. Prompts not merging when the member chosen is same.

Hi,

I have a requiriement that a report can be run for two scenarios and also for one scenario as well. Instead of creating two reports I was trying to handle this with run time prompts.
The datasource is an essbase cube.I am using Oracle EPM 11.1.2.2

I applied the following logic :
There will be two prompts given to the user . If the user chose two different scenarios then in the report two columns should be displayed , but if the user chose the same scenario for both the prompts then only one cloumn should be displayed on the report.

I tried the above , IT works fine for two prompts but even though same value is chosen for the prompts , it still shows two columns.

Kindly Help.
