HFM vs Essbase

Hello People

i have stange q

We are using essbase for
correcny conversation
interBL intraction
forecast
budgeting and also for target process

but would like to know Ease of HFM in above task which essbase is doing

curreny conveation take max 15 mins
interBl takes 2 hr
forecast 1hr
budget and target process -2hrs

i understand from oracle Sales that HFM can take currecny convesation and Interbl instead of doing in essbase aslo reduces time isit?
if so where does HFM stores data ? in Essbase or HFM maintains separate database to store data?
