HFM -System Messages

Hi,

Currently there is month end Process going on in our concern. while we monitoring the server we encountered lot of system messages.. this is one among " Unspecified Error"-Transaction (Process ID xxx) was deadlocked on lock resources with another process and has been chosen as the deadlock victim. Rerun the transaction.;

What does it mean? Can anyone comment on this
