HFM Optimization - How to improve consolidation rule performance?

Hello All,

I am not an HFM resource but I am trying help HFM team members with some performance issues. We have a fairly complex HFM application compared to any other instances we have heard of. Our big/clunky = slow. We have been tinkering around with registry settings but have not been able to any significant improvements with consolidation speeds.

What things have others tried to help improve consolidation speeds for large entity structures with multiple hierarchies? Are there any tweaks at database level (we use Oracle)? Any other suggestions?

Are there any tools/methods to help us figure out where some of bottlenecks to performance may be in our application/rules/environments?
