Hope you are all doing well.
I am facing a issue regarding the execution of business rule in HFM. Let me explain in detail so you have a insight of my business dimension structure and guide me accordingly.
I have open a member under Accounts Dimension - Cash Flow and some supporting members for the calculation of Cash Flow under the separate parent in same dimension. Now, i am writing a business rule to pull the values from Members of Income statement which opened under the Custom 1 Dimension. According to my business scenario i need to bifurcate the Income statement on functional area basis. So, I Opened Functional area under C****ustom 2 dimension.
The Income Statement Hierarchy opened in Custom 1 Dimension , its Functional Area opened under Custom 2 dimension and Chart of Account opened under the Accounts Dimension.
You can see that this is the 3-way link.
Now, let me explain you where the problem starts for executing the business rule.
I have to pull the values from Income Statement Form which based on 3 dimension as explained above on Cash Flow Form.
Cash Flow Hierarchy Opened in Accounts Dimension, i have opened its Another member of Cash Flow under same Functional Area with the same name CashFlow under Custom 2 Dimension and also open a member of CashFlow under Custom 1 Dimension.
The reason to open the cashflow member under the same dimension as i have opened for Income statement because i have to pull the values from Income statement form to Cash Flow From.
Now, come to the business rule which i am writing for it.
**A#**Finance Cost for CashFlow and **R#**Finance Cost is for income statement from where i want to pull the value. The rule is save,validate and deployed successfully. When i go to the Cash Flow form and execute Force Calculate command but the rule did not work here.
Please guide me in this regard,
