HFM 11.2 - XFMDDataSource taking up a lot of memory

Hello Gurus.

We recently upgraded from 11.1.2.3 to 11.2 and while performing load and network tests, realized that during FDMEE data loads and other consolidation operations

  1. the XFMDatasouce is consuming a lot of memory , from 3gb it goes all the way to 8 GB .

  2. even after the loads and consolidations are complete , it still seems to be holding on it and not releasing it.

Is there a setting to determine how long can the process hold on to the memory before releasing it .

Do understand that XFMDDataSource is the main process in HFM that executes all the operations , but am concerned about this causing the HFM application to crash.

Please share any insights or suggestions , not sure if changing the MaxNumberOfCubesin Ram would help .
