Help with StorageTek 2500 serial port.

Hello,

I need some help with my storagetek 2500. I don't have the RJ-45 - mini-DIN cable, and I can't find one. So I was thinking, can I use a mini-DIN - DB9 adaptor (like those for mouses and keybords), and a serial cable?
