I was given an Ultra2 Creator some time ago to learn the basics of Unix though I never got round to it. Now that I have the opportunity I find the machine fails to boot properly with the message:
SC Control: EWP:0 IAP:0 FATAL:0 WAKEUP:0 BXIR:0 BPOR:0 SXIR:0 SPOR:0 POR:0
Incorrect configuration checksum;
Setting NVRAM parameters to default values.
Setting diag-switch? NVRAM parameter to true
Probing Memory Bank #0 64 64 64 64 : 256 Megabytes

Probing UPA Slot at 1e,0 SUNW,ffb
Probing /sbus@1f,0 at e,0 SUNW,fas sd st SUNW,hme SUNW,bpp
Probing /sbus@1f,0 at 0,0 Nothing there
(1,0; 2,0; 3,0 all Nothing there)
Sun Ultra 2 UPA/SBus (2 x UltraSPARC 200Mhz), Keyboard Present
OpenBoot 3.11, 264 MB Memory installed, Serial #15728639
Ethernet address ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff, Host ID: ffefffff
The IDPROM contents are invalid
Power On Self Test Failed. Cause: SysIO U1001

Can anyone offer some advice on how to restore this machine (or even if it's possible?)
