help: the way to build a report using Derby DB

Hello all,
IReport(http://jasperforge.org/sf/projects/ireport) did a lot of work on building Report from a certain data source, however I need to write a desktop app which using Derby database could be the best choice, for its small size. The IReport didn't include the Derby JDBC Driver, what can I do to make this happen? Thanks!!
