Help setting up ESB and MQ

558186Aug 26 2007 — edited Sep 7 2007
Hi Everyone,

I am unable to configure an ESB service to enqueue into an MQ queue. I have SOA Suite 10.1.3.3 and MQSeries installed on my machine (winxp), and I am working with JDeveloper 10.1.3.3.

I am looking everywhere but cannot find a good guide for setting this up, so any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated and later credited when I write a cohesive note on the subject :)

+ What exactly should the oc4j-ra.xml look like? (channel and queue manager values especially)
+ Is there anyway to test the jndi connection to the MQ from the EM console?
+ Is it necessary to create a new channel in the MQ Series Explorer?
+ In the JDeveloper Wizard for creating the service, should the queue name appear in a different format such as "QueueManager.QueueName", or simply "QueueName" ?
+ There was some mention about a channel called SYSTEM.DEF.SVRCONN in the documentation. Can anyone please elaborate on this?

Thanks,

Tal.
