Help on RAC Cluster Shared Disks on RedHat Linux

OracleGuy198Feb 22 2011 — edited Feb 23 2011
Hi,

we have a two node cluster Oracle environment, both at 10.2.0.1. over the weekend we had a patch/firmware upgrade on our Linux 2.6.9-67 version. everything was normal but after the reboot for some reason the raw devices that were shared before were no longer recognized by secondary node and when we check the Oracle error logs we keep seeing below listed errors

Oracle Database 10g CRS Release 10.2.0.1.0 Production Copyright 1996, 2005 Oracle. All rights reserved.

on one node we can see the raw devices but not on the second node...

we need some expertize on getting these disks be shared and accessible across both nodes.

Thanks,
Praneeth.
