help!! java-vm-corrupt

i keep getting this freaking msg whenever i try to enter a site that has java. not to mention i get lots of blank screens then i get the msg JAVA-VM-CORRUPT..i have tried numerous times to fix this. i even reinstalled my IE...nothing has helped. if anyone has any ideas or knows how to fix this, it would be greatly appreciated..thanks
