Help for Linux Install on VMWare workstation 6.5

Hi,

I am trying to install Linux on VMWare (WS version 6.5.1) on my Dell Laptop. While installing I am getting following error “An error occured - no valid devices were found on which to create new file systems. Please check hardware for this cause of the problem. ”

I did not get correct pointers to resolve except for it might be related to the SATA operation. I changed BIOS to make it ATA but did not work.

I am using 64-bit installation and enterprise linux release 5.

Please let me know if anyone have an idea on this as I am unable to proceed with R12 installation.
