Help downloading specific rpms using rpm from Oracle Linux

ALU SteveFeb 3 2010 — edited Feb 22 2010
I would like to duplicate a production machine in our pre-production environment by staging the pre-production machine
from scratch. However, we want the two machines to be identical RPM-wise, thus using up2date is not an option to
get the pre-production RPMs the same as production.

I'm wondering how to pull specific versions of RPMs down from the Oracle repository using rpm. We have a valid CSI
and support contract, so I would think there'd be a way to do this. However, I'm having trouble finding out if it's
possible and if so, how to do it.

Thanks!
