HELP:basic ODM question

i am a new comer for ODM.follow the steps of the pdf on this website...The problem is that i donot have dm/demo after i have Companion CD installed. Then the table MINING_DATA_BUILD under DMUSER has no data ...How to solve?Thanks!!
