It is a 9.2.0.8 RAC system, two nodes.

from the top command I got a tns v3-v1 process used 8G memory. It is terrible.

from the top 'M' command I got the ps list order by memory usage.
There is a process 25547 use 50% of the physical memory 8G.

but from the V$PROCESS
SELECT * FROM v$process where spid=25547;

ADDR PID SPID USERNAME SERIAL# TERMINAL PROGRAM
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
00000017D7C956B0 134 25547 oracle 9 UNKNOWN oracle@Ora01 (TNS V1-V3)

and the program name is (TNS v1-v3)

the memory it use in PGA

PGA_USED_MEM PGA_ALLOC_MEM PGA_FREEABLE_MEM PGA_MAX_MEM
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
0 1106749 131072 1106749

is not as much as I saw in the top output.

So how to identify the problem? Is it bind to a session?

And why the PGA_USED_MEM is so little.

Thanks.
