I am looking for anyone that has set up a second printer in Oracle HCM, while still leaving the first printer as the default. Background is we have a printer shared by AP and Payroll, printer 1, which is the default in BI, Administration, Delivery, Printer, printer 1 set to Default.
On our TEST pod I have successfully set up the second printer in Oracle, set printer 2 to the Default, and also pointed the two payroll flows via the Extract Definition PAYMENTS, COR US Check Writer Report Print, (Property ) Printer Group 'printer 2', and it prints fine to printer 2.
The issue is we need to leave the printer 1 as the Default so that AP can continue as is, and print to printer 1. BUT when I set printer 1 back to the Default, the Extract Definition does not seem to override the printer 1 and instead errors out. (With no good error information in the log files of course...).
So I am looking for anyone that might have set up two printers in HCM and perhaps uses one of them for payroll checks.
I have an SR already in Oracle, for over a month with no progress or solutions...
