HBAs and 3TB+ drive size

Can anyone recommend a good HBA supported well in Solaris 11 that accepts 3TB+ SATA/SAS drives in a PCIe adapter?

I purchased an Areca 1320-i4e4 and got the drivers from Areca. I had 4 WD 640gb drives installed and part of a ZFS pool. It all worked well until I tried to upgrade the drives to 3TB drives.

I first off-lined the zfs drive:
:> zfs offline storage c4t1d0
Then yanked the drive. Inserted new drive and looked for it.

Thats when I noticed cfgadm does not see any drives attached to the areca hba. Format wouldn't see the new drive either. I went ahead and rebooted the system in case the arcsas driver needed to be reloaded.

Here are the error messages I got on boot.
Jul 6 03:29:01 larray arcsas: [ID 661133 kern.warning] WARNING: arcsas0: unable to online Target 1 Lun 0
Jul 6 03:29:01 larray unix: [ID 665567 kern.warning] WARNING: kstat_create('sd', 7, 'fm'): namespace collision
Jul 6 03:29:01 larray scsi: [ID 107833 kern.warning] WARNING: /pci@0,0/pci8086,1c10@1c/pci17d3,1320@0/disk@1,0 (sd7):
Jul 6 03:29:01 larray disk capacity is too large for current cdb length
Did I perhaps not configure it properly? Or can anyone tell me if it appears the arcsas driver can not handle 3TB drives?

Thanks!
