Oracle Database Discussions

Hi,

i want to know whether hash partition is benificial in terms of performance. For example if DRL is performed on a table that has 10 hash partitions, as peer my understanding that DRL would scan the whole table as hash partition just distributes data equally among partitions without specifying any values.
Please advice.
