Has anyone tried Oracle JET chart customizations?

Have anyone tried the Oracle JET chart customizations demonstrated in the JET Cookbook present at the following URL?

I was wondering if we can change the tooltip in a Gantt chart in Apex 20.1 as shown in the pic below. Some JS code is already mentioned in the cookbook, but not having any experience with JS really sucks...
