Hardware requirements for Oracle RAC

Hi ALL,

12c

We have a customer who wanted to buy Oracle Database RAC.

They ask me what hardware/software they need to buy.

I said:

1. Server machines( minimum of 2 nodes)

2. Shared storage. (internal disks can not be used for RAC right?)

3. Network IP addresses ( minumum of 3 IPs per node), Does this mean 3 network cards per node?

4. Whats else is needed on the hardware side?

Is software 3rd party clusterware needed?
