Handling XML files in Oracle 12C

Experts,

I am supposed to work on 12.2.0.1. Can any one please share and explain me How can we handle XML files ( How can we Read and Write) and load the contents on those XML files into Oracle Tables.

Please share me the Document with Architecture and example document if you have any. It would be very helpful for me.
