Handling exceptions in APEX

Hello,

I would like to ask about your oppinion.
What is the best way to handle different exceptions in APEX. I know that here : 'Page Definition>Edit Page Process' in 'Messages' can be displayed Success msg and Process Error Message, but what if there are one than one error, and we would like to handle everyone of them with different responsible action/message.
