Hello Experts,
Update:
apparently when Sync To Sites in WCC is set to false, the Asset in WCS will be deleted the next time WCS polls WCC, except when the Asset has dependents in WCS. This happens even if the rules in WCS are not met. I still don't quite see the use case here, one could just delete the item in WCC, which will also trigger the deletion in WCS.
This means, in a live publishing from WCC to WCS, once an item gets the Sync To Sites set to true, this value should not be changed anymore, otherwise, setting it to false will delete the asset from WCS.
Any thoughts on this will still be appreciated.

I am facing a situation which I do not understand completely. I have configured the WCC and WCS and the Connector and the transfer of Items from WCC to WCS works. The use case(s) is/are as follows:
item, has just one revision, in WCC is at least one time synchronized, means an asset was in WCS created
updating the same revision by changing some of the metadatas, gets reflected in WCS
same item in WCC gets a new revision, which should not be synchronized, the rule condition in WCS is not met
asset is not available any more in WCS, I assume it gets deleted => this behavior is for me a bit unnatural, why should the already transferred items/assets be deleted from WCS when the rule condition is not met...
I have to mention that if the item in WCC is deleted it will also be deleted from WCS, if not referenced, which is totally fine, but creating a new revision which is not to be synchronized leading to the deletion of the asset in WCS, is for me an unexpected behavior.
Could anyone shed some light on this matter? Thanks a lot!
Vlad
