GUNZIP or GZIP won't decompress ..

I can decompress the file on an NT box but after loading pzip 1.3.5 I still can't unzip SUN's Gnome 2.0 file. Even when I'm in the /usr/local/bin, where I can clearly see the gzip and gunzip files it says "gunzip not found".

I'm so new to Solaris 9 and sooo dumb!
