guest linux system showing cpu speed 0 (zero)

i have installed vm virtualbox 4 and installed oracle linux guest system. i was trying to install oracle adf and it failed for cpu verification. it says

Checking if CPU speed is above 300MHz. Actual 0 Mhz Failed.

i check in /proc/cpuinfo and it is showing cpu MHz 0.000

is their any way i can chang cpu speed to actual my processor cpu? or by pass cpu check during
installation of oracle adf..
