grouping multiple rows into a single row

444852May 12 2009 — edited May 12 2009
I totally need some help with this simple task... Basically, I have multiple rows for a single user id that I need to be grouped into a single row.

The following is what I have before:

USERID MONTH1_SEVERITY MONTH2_SEVERITY MONTH3_SEVERITY

1900055 MODERATE
1900055< ....ignore just space..>MODERATE
1900055<.......ignore just space.............................>MODERATE

What I would like to see:
USER_ID MONTH1_SEVERITY MONTH2_SEVERITY MONTH3_SEVERITY

1900055 MODERATE MODERATE MODERATE

Thanks in advance.
