Hi,
I have the following scenario. We have various read only web forms used for reviewing data. Some of them have suppression settings enabled in the Grid settings, such as Suppress missing rows, as you might expect.
We are trying to encourage users to learn to build their own ad-hoc analysis grids in Smart View by using the existing Review web forms as a start point. However, when clicking analyse on forms that have suppression settings enabled at the Grid level, it is impossible to get past the "ad hoc grid cannot be opened as there are no valid rows of data" error message. All suppression setting in Smart View>Options are disabled, but it appears that the grid is somehow inherently deriving its suppression settings from the web form it is being created from. This is a very frustrating behaviour especially considering it is inconsistent with what happens when you press Analyze when using the browser interface instead. In the browser, no error is returned and the ad hoc grid opens as expected.
We are using Workspace version 11.1.2.4.0.79 and Smart View 11.1.2.5.600.
Thanks
