Granting execute on sys packages -- 12c VM instance

Scott SwankSep 17 2015 — edited Sep 19 2015

Hello all, it's been a few years.

I have a 12c instance running in VirtualBox, via the June 2015 developer days VM.

Developer Day - Hands-on Database Application Development

That's pretty sweet. I created a user/schema, made some basic grants to it. Now I'd like to grant execute on utl_call_stack, but I only have a SYSTEM connection. Anyone know where I can find the SYS password? Purportedly "all passwords are oracle", but no luck with sys/oracle.

Alternately, anyone know which forum I actually should have posted this question in?

Thanks and hello again,

Scott
