Grant select on table to individual vs. role
615172Mar 15 2008 — edited Mar 15 2008I have granted a user select access to a series of tables in another schema so that he can create a view referencing them in his own schema.
1. If I put the grants in a role and grant him the role, the view will not compile.
2. If I grant the selects to him directly then the view does compile.
This is 10.2.0.3 DB. I can't figure out why the role's grants won't work. I've made sure to re-grant the role to him just in case.
Anyone see this before?
