Good Tutorials to get started with Java

Well I'm really new to Java programming. I've done alot of Visual Basic years ago, but I know that Java is object oriented and so something different than VB. I've installed the JDK including the JRE and I'm ready to start, but in those floods of tutorials I find with google I just can't seem to get through, they all seem a bit.. dunno. The best ones so far, as far as I can tell, are:

Am I missing the "one and only" beginning tutorial? Or doesn't such a one and only thing even exist?
