GoldenGate on an image with a "regular" client install (not InstantClient) #2252

Has anyone had any experience with, or have examples of, extending the OracleLinux7 base image with a regular Oracle runtime or admin client.
We are currently working to containerize our GoldenGate environment(s), and I have confirmed with Oracle Support that the use of InstantClient with GoldenGate is not a recommended or supported configuration.
