GoldenGate Monitor Setup Issue

964861Sep 27 2012 — edited Sep 28 2012
Hello,

I am currently experimenting with the functionally Oracle GoldenGate offers. I have successfully setup an extract which replicates data via two replicat services (on a windows 7 VM instance), to two separate target databases. I have managed to get Oracle GG Director working and can see data flowing through to the targets.

Next on the agenda was to get GG Monitor working and this is where I have come stuck. I have followed the Oracle GG Monitor Admin Guide. On my extract ggsi window, I am now seeing the following warnings:

*2012-07-27 14:36:06 WARNING OGG-01930 Datastore error in 'dirbdb': BDB0113 Thread/process 5644/4588 failed: BDB1507 Thread died in Berkeley DB library.*

If I execute INFO ALL it shows the JAGENT is STOPPED.
If I execute the START JAGENT command, I get the above Berkeley DB library error and then it tells me Service ‘GGSMGR’ is running.

GGSMGR is the name of my manager service, so its as though both the manager service and JAGENT service as using the same name.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Andy.
