I believe Goldengate costing model is based on fixed Core usages plus support. It does not matter where it sits.
For example if i have a situation as below:
- Oracle DB
- GG standard installed on Oracle Host
- GG for big Data stored on a physical host as part of Big Data cluster
Does the cost always relates to the source? bviously in our case the target is Big Data artefacts and not another Oracle instance. Our Oracle contact talks about us getting heavy discount but at this stage nothing more?
