I'm trying to create a database that cannot use RAC so I'm looking at solutions and have been banging my head over a DG setup.
But I learned today of GoldenGate. I downloaded it, but my questions are.
Do I install it on one database server itself? Do I setup a different server? Do I need the studio? The documentation is pretty lacking and I'm not sure which one would benefit me and make for a solid solution.
