Golden gate processes abended after abnormal reboot

user13364377Oct 11 2016 — edited Nov 24 2016

hi All,

All the  golden gate processes are abended after a node eviction. Now I am unable to start the extract, pump processes. Also the manager process is not restarting. If we try to stop the manager process, it wont stop.

When we try to stop the manager, it gives the below error.

2016-10-10 11:27:49  ERROR   OGG-01454  Oracle GoldenGate Manager for Oracle, mgr.prm:  Unable to lock file "/gg_home/db1/dirpcs/MGR.pcm" (error 37, No locks available).

I followed the steps provided in the metalink note ID 1489167.1, but it doesn't work . Below is the file details.

[oragg@host1 dirpcs]$ pwd

/gg_home/db1/dirpcs

[oragg@host1 dirpcs]$ ls -trl

total 2

-rwxr----- 1 oragg dba 0 Oct 10 8:54 MGR.pcm

Can we move the MGR.pcm file to MGR.pcm_bkp and copy the contents of MGR.pcm_bkp to the original file MGR.pcm and try starting the mgr process?

Database version is 11.2.0.4
