I posted this in the SQL Developer forum, but was referred to this forum instead.
On both my Oracle SQL Developer platform at work (4.0.3.16), and at home, using XE, I cannot get the Git interface to work properly. At home, I can import from Github, and I see data in my repository, but when I make a change to one of the procedures, I fail to see anything in Pending Changes. I do see pending changes if I go directly to Git. Plus, All I see in the Versions window is the Git icon, no tree structure.
And question #2, at work, I can't download from Github, due to nonavailability to SSH, so I set up a repository through Git. Now, how do I connnect Developer and Git? All the selections on the Team/Git dropdown are grayed out, except for Branch Compare, Clone, Initialize, and Pending Changes (none of which seem to work). When I try to initialize at path C:\Users\U12A05\AppData\Roaming\SQL Developer\system4.0.3.16.84\o.sqldeveloper.12.2.0.16.84\projects, nothing happens--no messages at all.
