GG DB maintance

Hi experts,

We have configured Replication between source oracle production system and target oracle server, The replication is working fine. But every sunday DBA team and system admin team reboot the source production database system. Before shutdown the database and server what are the steps we have to follow to stop the GG process and how to restart the GG process once server and database is in running mode? since the processes are abended status once server and database is up.

Please help on this.
