Getting /usr/lib/amd64/ld.so.1: bad ELF interpreter when Installing GC12C

712814Jan 2 2012 — edited Jan 3 2012
Hi,

I'm trying to install GC 12c on OEL 5,3 64 bit
I'm having the following

[oracle@gcsrvr install]$ id -a
uid=500(oracle) gid=503(oinstall) groups=501(oracle),502(dba),503(oinstall)
[oracle@gcsrvr install]$ uname -a
Linux gcsrvr 2.6.18-128.el5 #1 SMP Wed Jan 21 08:45:05 EST 2009 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
[oracle@gcsrvr install]$ ./runInstaller
bash: ./runInstaller: /usr/lib/amd64/ld.so.1: bad ELF interpreter: No such file or directory
[oracle@gcsrvr install]$

I'm using OEL 5,3 64-bit and I don't have the /usr/lib/amd64 dir too

Any one who had this issue before?

Regards
