Java APIs

Hi,
Recently I've found that the same program running quite smoothly in the computer (single desktop) shows quite unpleasant behaviour while running in the same single desktop computer but with internet connection and specially with third party security center like Norton Internet Security 2003 installed and enabled. I'm given the following output while trying to run the server:
