getting the value from combobox

Thanks a Lot;

really it helped me a lot,but I have problem in getting the event i.e; I have to get the value in the options for every change and then I have to retrieve records correspondingly from other table(say we can have the employee names).When I click the employee name it should show his records.Can anyone one please help me for the same.
