Getting the servername ,port information dynamically

Hi,
I am working on a report that requires the servername,port name dynamically. I annot hardcode this as this report is used across different servers.
I was looking at possible solutions using Java. If anyone has an idea of how to do this in Reports using the "Programs - Import Java" utility please let me know.
Or If anyone has a better solution to this problem then also please let me know.
