getting INS-40725 even though the scan vip subnet is the same as public one
Hi,
I am trying to install 11gR2 cluster on solaris 10. I have defined the scan name in DNS. The scan IP is in the same subnet as the public IPs. But still, the installer gives the INS-40725 error. Also, when clicking the Identify Network Interfaces button on the installer, the list of available interfaces is blank. Does the installer not see the two interfaces that are existing and show up when runing ifconfig?
Here is what the hosts file looks like on rac1:
127.0.0.1 localhost
192.168.1.151 rac1 loghost
192.168.1.161 rac1prv
192.168.1.121 rac1vip
192.168.1.152 rac2
192.168.1.162 rac2prv
192.168.1.122 rac2vip
The scan Ip is set to 192.168.1.133 in DNS.
Here is what ifconfig shows on rac1:
-bash-3.00# ifconfig -a
