Hi All. This is about an Oracle XE 21c installation on Windows.
It has been reported ORA-21561 running an Apex app that accesses objects through a database link. Initially all pointed to an issue with the database link. However I found MOS note 1335327.1 and I was able to reproduce the error from TOAD connected to the XE pluggable:
I modified the etc/hosts on that windows box to include the FQN:
when i ping this server it resolves using ipv6, so that is why i added this line (not sure if this is correct)
Not sure if I´m on the right track here.
Could someone provide some insight on this? I know it was working ok previously, so something changed and we still do not know what it is.
