getting alert message while opening of downloaded excel file

Hello All,

I have written procedure which is used for downloading a page in excel format.
the file is downloaded successfully .but when i am opening that file i am getting one alert message.

The file you are trying to open, 'abc.xls',is in a different format than specified by the file extension.

Apex Version : 4.1
Database : 11g
Browser : Mozila 15.0.1,IE8
