Hi All,

I want to get the update statement in the before update trigger of that table which is getting updated. If not atleast the Where Clause of the Update statement. I need this to check whether the update is a legal update or correct update and make some restrictions out of it.

In this regard what i require is the update statement which is fired in my before update trigger. I.e When ever a update statement fires i want the exact update statement or atleast the where clause of it in before update trigger. Do we have any Data dictionary view or get this by any other means. Expecting a strong discussion on this

If some one can help me with that piece of code on how to trap it that would be great and helpful.
