Get month in 2 digits from this month upto 6 months from now

My db column stores month and date in 4 digits in a number column (dtinfo). Like mmdd format. 1230 for 30th dec, 731 for 31st July.
I need to get the information from that table where substr(lpad(dtinfo, 4, '0'), 1, 2) in (this month..... uptil thismonth plus six). That is feb, mar, apr, may , jun , jul and aug. How can I do that?
